It's been a while since my last blog post.
My apologies.
I was doing some soul searching. During that time I ran into friends and family
that told me my blog inspires them. So here's to you.
10 minutes off the top of my head before I have to rush to work.
Some things I've been up too.

New 2009 Hosoi Deck that my friend Sean Reddy, my old roommate from college,
gave me while I was visiting New York.
One of the highlights of my trip home besides my cousin's wedding and hanging out with my parents was meeting up with my old fried Sean who I haven't seen in possibly 10 years. We skated around Manhattan from Washington Square, down Lafayette, through Chinatown, and to the Tribeca Skatepark.
After skating the Tribeca Skatepark, which is a basically a rad street course, we skate strolled down to the end of the pier. At the end of the pier if none of you have been there is a beautiful view looking west- AKA a great secret spot to watch the sunset. There are 6 reclining chairs where you can relax with a friend and catch up.
That's a secret NYC spot for you.
The next day I took the assembled the Hosoi deck, which Sean gave me because he knows Hosoi is my favorite skater, not to mention that I rode Christian's personal board once in Hawaii and it was MAGIC. Sean happened to have the rare model and he gave it to me. What a BRO! Thanks again Sean; I took it to the Chelsea Skatepark which is pretty bad ass with some big transitions, a deep pool, cradle, and plenty of radical terrain to keep you occupied for years.
Doing a frontside grind in the deep end of Chelsea pool on the Hosoi deck is like grinding while having tea in your living room. It is so stable. My feet could be almost anywhere on the board and still be in good position.
So that's the latest report in my life.
More again soon.
Aloha,
Manny
